The Orosi valley is home to many natural hot springs, some of which are known only by the locals.  There are a few options available to the public which should be a ¨must see” during your stay in the area.

The Balneario de Aguas Termales is only a 3 minute walk from Hotel Reventazon and cost $6 per person for unlimited daily use.  This facility features several pools of different sizes and temperatures fed by the water from natural hot springs near the property.  Hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Wednesday to Monday.

Approximately one mile south of town you will find the Balnearios Los Patios, whose waters include a 110 degree therapeutic pool suitable for adults only.  These hot springs are also $6 per person and hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday to Sunday.

The Termales Hacienda Orosi are private hot springs located near Rio Macho, about a seven minute drive from Hotel Reventazon.  This is the best option for those seeking therapeutic hot water in a majestic and relaxing natural setting.  Reservations are available and the cost is higher at $40 per person but the amazing experience is totally worth it.  These springs are open seven days a week from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

All three of the options listed above have on-site restaurants which generally open an hour after and close an hour before the springs’ main hours.
